The Colorado Springs School’s main library and media center is housed in the historic Trianon in Charles Baldwin’s beautiful two-story library. It holds more than 17,500 volumes for students, faculty, staff, and parents to enjoy.

The library serves as a hub for digital learners of all ages and is home to a multi-media resource center, an iPad lab, portable Chromebooks, and a video recording and editing studio. The Children’s School library room is also located in the Trianon, with books and resources for younger learners.
Library hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Media specialist is available to assist students with research and book checkout.
The Pikes Peak Battle of the Books is a reading competition open to 5th grade students. Student teams read up to 40 books over the course of the school year and compete in a trivia challenge at Colorado College, where they are asked to answer questions about the books they've read. Fourth graders are encouraged to read the books, if interested.
The mission of the Pikes Peak Region Battle of the Books is to foster a love of reading by encouraging students to read challenging, quality literature written by a variety of authors across multiple genres.
