The Lower School Celebration of the Arts

The Lower School Celebration of the Arts in the Louisa Performing Arts Center on April 18, 2025, was bursting with creativity, talent, and Kodiak pride! From toe-tapping musical numbers by the 4th and 5th grade bands to heartwarming choir performances, the stage came alive—and so did our appreciation for the arts.

A big round of applause to the following Kodiaks whose work was selected for the 62nd Annual Pikes Peak Young People’s Art Exhibition, showcasing student talent from across the Pikes Peak region:

  • Olivia E. (Kindergarten): clay, “Lily and Dragonfly"
  • Brody O. (1st Grade): pastel drawing, “The Night”
  • Ellie P. (2nd Grade): acrylic painting, “Colorado Mountain”
  • Temperance B. (3rd Grade): ink print on paper, “The Blank Space”
  • Dimitri L. (3rd Grade): clay and glazes, “Blue Ringed Octopus”
  • Brooke S. (4th Grade): terracotta clay, underglaze, “Face in Shapes”
  • Noah M. (5th Grade): acrylic on paper, “Abstraction of Space”
  • Clark D. (5th Grade): Terracotta clay, glazes, “Tranquility”

A special shoutout to Kaitlyn F. (5th grade), who earned the Permanent Art Collection Award for her vibrant acrylic piece, "Color Abstraction," which will represent the Lower School this year!
