Today, The Colorado Springs School officially welcomes Dr. Ryan Kelly as its new Head of School.
Dr. Kelly brings a passion for education and a proven track record in leading schools through periods of growth and transformation. His career spans from the heart of the classroom to the forefront of international educational leadership, uniquely preparing him to guide our students in a world that demands leadership, ingenuity, problem-solving skills, and personal integrity.
Dr. Kelly has been on campus since mid-April after completing his role as Founding Head of School at BASIS International & Bilingual School in Chengdu, China, where he was celebrated for fostering a positive school culture, demonstrating transparent leadership, and honing the art of listening.
We extend our gratitude to Dr. Mike Edmonds for serving as Interim Head of School this past year while we conducted an extensive search for our new Head of School. In January, the CSS Board of Trustees announced Dr. Kelly as the incoming Head of School, commencing on July 1, 2024.
