Families from across the Pikes Peak region joined The Colorado Springs School for an afternoon of exciting hands-on learning and team-building activities at the first-ever CSS ExEd Expo on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
Guests heard from Local Falconer and Retired CSS Science Teacher Roger Tucker, who shared information on birds of prey and introduced three birds of his own. They explored the properties of bubbles and why they behave the way that they do, learned the difference between packing wants and essentials when planning for camping, and constructed boats out of everyday household items before testing to see how much weight their floating vessel could hold. The fun continued at the relaxation station, where guests enjoyed s'mores and other outdoor-friendly snacks while meeting with current and past CSS families.
Thank you to everyone who spent the afternoon with us! We hope this event helped you see for yourself why The Colorado Springs School is ranked the #2 best K-12 private school in the State.
