This month, students from PreKindergarten through 5th grade embarked on CSS's annual Fall Adventure, a seminar aimed at enhancing team-building and expanding one's knowledge of Colorado State. The Lower School's youngest learners focused on water, plants, and animals via exploration of CSS's 28-acre campus – including the community garden, pond, and stream – with Catamount Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing outdoor education and adventures to youth across the Pikes Peak region. Meanwhile, students in grades three through five participated in overnight, off-campus activities ranging from archery and fishing to rock climbing and slacklining.
