Middle School Thespians Produce and Perform in Play

Our Middle School thespians took to the stage on December 16, 2022, to perform The Complete History of Theatre (Abridged), a student-driven performance including building the set, in the Louisa Performing Arts Center. Throughout this wild and wacky journey on the history of theatre, audience members explored the beginnings of Greek theatre, Aristotle’s Poetics, the fine art of Kabuki, the history of mime, the gladiators of Rome, and speculation on the real author of Shakespeare’s plays. This crazy cast of characters transported you back in time as we relive the various elements of theatre from all parts of the globe and kept you in stitches at every turn on a rollicking ride!
